Thomas wrote to say that he knows only a few names of the Cumpstons in this photograph,

The young boy sitting on the fence in the back with the hat on is his great grandfather
William/Bill. He died of cancer in his Thirties.

Rothwell,  sitting in the rocking chair in the middle of the photo, was Thomas's great great grandfather.

He thinks the photo was taken around the turn of the last century. circa. 1900
