An explanation to try and make things easier!
I usually place birth data in a yellow box, but for some of these individuals I hold more data than just births.
If they can be placed with other family members they will have a family colour attributed to them.
If I have no other family link, but the data includes a death date, the box will be green.
If the only data I have is a birth with a subsequent marriage it will be in a pink box.

I am researching two people called James M. Cumpston including this one born in Pennsylavania around 1835. He was married to Elizabeth Thomas and they had one daughter, Julia Ann (great grandmother of Linda Henegahn). He was in Co. E. 15th regiment of the Kansas Voluntary Calvary. He lived in Texas most of his life after the calvary, but he had left the family when Julia was little. Linda had got his calvary records from the National Archives, so knows about his service, but not his parents or siblings or any other family member. Can anyone help with furthering this research?
