An explanation to try and make things easier!
I usually place birth data in a yellow box, but for some of these individuals I hold more data than just births. If they can be placed with other family members they will have a family colour attributed to them.
If I have no other family link, but the data includes a death date, the box will be green.
If the only data I have is a birth with a subsequent marriage it will be in a pink box.
Occasionally I have managed to match up a child born in another county, such as Jasper in the left hand column, born in California, with his father born in Ohio.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN TELL ME MORE ABOUT ANY OF THESE ENTRIES

Jennifer Compston Staff Writer The IntelligencerThe Wheeling News-Register
Jennifer Compston is a reporter with the Ohio Bureau of The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register covering the city of Martins Ferry ( the oldest settlement in Ohio , as well as the one with the most political unrest ), western Belmont County (because I live there ) , the village of Barnesville and the Barnesville Exempted Village School District , and St. Clairsville School-Richland City School District. She also covers a number of other education issues, medical issues, and public interest stories as time allows.
Jennifer is known among her co-workers for being mysteriously available to cover fires which seem to occur in western Belmont County each and every time that she is scheduled to work the evening shift. She is also well-known for living in a trailer with cars up on blocks in her yard (they're not really on blocks, they are simply not operational ).
She was born and raised in western Belmont County, Ohio where she still resides. She attended Union Local High School, and Wright State University in Dayton where she dabbled in a number of majors including music and biomedical engineering before she completed a Bachelor's degree in History in 1994. She later attended the Franciscan University of Steubenville where she completed graduate coursework and a teaching certification program (because she could not find employment with her essentially useless degree in history) .Jennifer worked as a substitute teacher for three years while completing her teaching certification. She has taught in the Union Local , Barneville , and St. Clairsville school districts, and at Belmont Technical College as a part-time algebra instructor. She then worked in the Switzerland of Ohio School District for one year as a teacher of gifted and talented students before becoming a reporter. Jennifer's interests include gardening, music, and reading. She has two cats , a dog named Houdini, and several varieties of fish. Her favorite book and movie is the classic ‘‘Gone With The Wind.''.
