CHECK OUT PAGE 2 AND AN INDIVIDUAL PAGE FOR ROTHWELL CUMPSTON
There are a number of CUMPSTON families living in Greene. I have tried to contact researchers interested in these and would welcome contact from them.
This index contains the name of those whose birth records are found in Birth Registers 3 through 12 at the Greene County courthouse in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. These registers contain delayed birth records for individuals born before 1915 whose births were not recorded at the time.
Although the county did not begin recording births until 1893, there are many records here for individuals born before that time, some as early as the 1870's, and quite possibly a few earlier. Each record contains a good deal of information, including date and place of birth, parents' names, mother's maiden name, number of children of the mother, etc. This index contains only the name and the book and page number on which each record is found; however, that information can be used to find the record at the courthouse or to request a copy of it.
