Account of Mr Cumpstones expenses at Appleby for food, drink and horses.
With also an account of slate produced at Troutbeck Park [undated].
There is a long history of Cumpstons in the Ambleside area. The earliest records are all linked to the Paper Mill. I have colour coded each father to assist recognition of family lines and numbered each child in sequence. All County records items are in gold other than those identified as belonging to a father by name. The first entry is:
